Scope Type: Construction & Installation of Gas Receiver Station (G.R.S)
This project involved the complete execution and handover of a Gas Receiver Station (G.R.S) as part of the 48" Abadan-Basrah Gas Pipeline Project. Future Will was responsible for all works related to construction, installation, and commissioning of the station under a unit-rate contract structure. The G.R.S. forms a critical interface in the gas transmission infrastructure from Abadan to Basrah, handling pressure regulation, gas receiving, metering and initial safety systems prior to gas injection into downstream facilities operated by SOC/ICG Group.

Key Work Components
Civil Works
- Site clearance, grading, and excavation
- Concrete foundations for gas station equipment
- Cable trenches, valve pads, and pipe supports
Mechanical Installation
- Mounting of pipeline headers and valves
- Installation of filtration units and regulators
- Flange assembly, leak testing, and alignment
- Connection to 48" main pipeline system
Electrical & Instrumentation
- Power supply to local panels and equipment
- Instrumentation cabling for flow meters and regulators
- Earthing and grounding works
Pre-commissioning & Handover
- Pressure testing and nitrogen purging
- Mechanical completion and redline drawings
- Handover to TEGIC with operation readiness documents
