Overview

Scope Type: EPCC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Commissioning)

Future Will was awarded a full-turnkey EPCC contract for the development of water injection station facilities. The main scope comprised three Water Injection Stations (BUN, BUS3 and FQS) and a Source Water Treatment in BUT. The new facilities include water injection tanks, water feed pumps, water injection pumps, chemical injection systems, sand removal and fiber ball filter skids (BUS3), instrument control systems and power distribution systems.

Scope

Key Work Components

Civil Structure

  • Trenching, leveling and backfilling; compaction testing.
  • Concrete works: foundations, walkways and cable trenching.
  • Structural steel sheds for transformers, water feed/injection pumps and chemical injection skids.

Mechanical, Piping & Pipeline

  • Installation of static equipment (tanks) and rotary equipment (water feed and injection pumps).
  • Water treatment system (GRE piping, fiber ball and sand removal skids) at BUS3 and BUT.
  • Carbon steel, stainless steel and duplex stainless steel piping; GRE by lamination method.

Electrical

  • Cable laying, equipment installation, earth cable and OHTL installation in BUS3 and FQS.
  • Cathodic protection (sacrificial anodes) for the WIS tanks.

Instrumentation & Control

  • Installation and termination of all instruments; vendor control-system commissioning.
  • Pressure/transmitter/gas-detector gauges, junction boxes, DCS and SIS cabinets, control valves.

Special Requirements

  • Design Standards: ASME B31.4, NACE MR0175/ISO 15156 for sour service.
  • Climate Adaptation: Works in extreme summer conditions (up to 50°C) and dust storms.
  • HSE & QA/QC: ISO 9001/14001/45001 standards; full compliance with Company safety policies.
  • International Third-Party Inspection: SGS, BV, RINA, ATG involvement in FAT/SAT.
  • Local Compliance: All materials certified by Iraqi Embassy and MOO Tech Directorate standards.

Supply Chain

Procurement Activities

  • Full-scope procurement of all materials and equipment not free-issued by the Client.
  • Purchase Orders signed with approved manufacturers for water feed pumps, tank plate, sand removal & fiber ball filter skids, chemical injection skids, AC & DC UPS, transformers, LV & MV switchgears, piping and fittings.
  • Expediting, QA/QC inspections, logistics, customs clearance and site delivery.
